Responsibilities: ROLE PURPOSE 40% Campaign management and 60% Field Expert

•Execute and Translate a crop strategy into a customer strategy; agree prioritization & resource deployment across grower segments & within the value chain.
•To lead the development of an efficient and effective customer marketing strategy in the Direct Farm Units and in the various crops collectively referred to as speciality crops .
•Actively interpret the Crop solutions designed by the Head Quarter crop teams and work with the country sales teams in designing the local offers
•Have crop expertise across a range of agronomic and market conditions
•Actively participate in design, communication, and implementation of technical crop solutions for the various assigned crops.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Country Business Accountabilities

•Key member of the Country marketing team bringing a grower centric view /.
•Delivers market plans and analysis to support the budgeting process and resource allocation
•Design Marketing Campaigns: define the target customer groups, clear communication of product positioning, identification of the relevant touch points,
•Set up and follow up commercial demo trials to build deep understanding of Syngenta product offers inorder to maximize the impact of product launches.
•Organize and locally manage field trial demonstration sites to support the local sales team.
•Leverage deep understanding of leading growers ' Key Buying Factors to efficiently sell on the value of Syngenta products.
•Ensures implementation and alignment of the campaigns in line with the Country Go To Market strategy
•Participate in channel and grower segmentation process.
•Review campaign effectiveness in & post season against objectives with the Sales Force.
•Ensures consistent campaign targeting, execution and measurement
•Develops detailed campaigns in DFU and specialty sectors& gains approval from Commercial Unit Management team
•Ensures alignment with pricing strategy.
•Participate in sales forecasting and planning process
•Accountable for 3 major areas: crop expertise, solution and product launch maximization, and collaboration at the farm-gate/internally/externally.Crop expertise: Provide agronomic support, training and coaching to the sales force, key account managers, channel partners and grower customers Solution and product launch maximization: identify potential solutions to address grower needs and support new product launches via participation in trials and training Collaboration at the farm-gate/internally/externally: Partner with the sales channels and direct farm units to maximize Syngenta ‘s market share at farm gate level . Through leveraging partnership opportunities and building Key Account relationships
•Market intelligence in DFU, Specialty segment
•Product forecasting in DFU, Specialty segment
Requirements:

Requirements: Critical experience and knowledge

•Good agronomical background
•University degree holder in Agriculture or related field a Masters degree will be an added advantage Marketing Manager
•5 years or more experience as a Sales Representative,Technical Development or Marketing role in the agri-business sector,
•Solid crop management knowledge
•Computer skills (Microsoft Office user)

Description: Responsible to the Officer Direct Lending for assisting in project appraisal for technical, financial, and economic viability. Responsible also for assisting customers obtain funding. Assist loan applicants who have difficulty qualifying for traditional loans.

Job Description

Carrying out private sector assessment studies on their financial, economic and investment climate.
Provide administrative support in the preparation of required material for officers to business development missions in assigned countries
Assist in the collect all necessary economic, financial, marketing and technical information/date required to evaluate potential lending projects.
Put together Documentation for the Preparation of appraisal reports and investment proposals for consideration by Management.
Analyze and verify applications to determine the client's creditworthiness.
Understand and explain Direct loan programs and guidelines
Establish prosperous working relationships with referral sources
Ability to structure loan program alternatives to match the borrower's motivation
Excellent communication and follow up skills

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, Key Skills and Competencies

Post qualification experience of 3 (three) years
