Quantity Surveyor at Kenya Airports Authority in Kenya – Kenyan Careers and Vacancies
Job Purpose
Prepares preliminary estimates for procurement of goods and services and analyses costs for use in contractual claims analysis.
Responsibilities
Measuring and taking out quantities from drawings to prepare Bills of Quantities
Measuring of spot items to enable preparation of Bills of Quantities for rehabilitation/
refurbishment works
Preparation of Estimates for construction works
Preparation of Tender and Contract Documents
Measuring and preparation of Valuations/Payment Certificates for work done
Preparation of Financial Appraisals for projects
Attendance of Site Meetings
Preparation of Final Accounts for projects completed
Ensures maintenance and improvement of KAA QMS
Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Building Economics)/Quantity Surveying
Experience: At least 1 yr post-university experience
Others: Knowledge of various forms of contract especially PPOA will be an added
advantage
